What is Rotary?

Rotary International is a humanitarian service organization that brings together business and professional leaders in order to provide community service, promote integrity, and advance goodwill, peace, and understanding in the world. It is a non-political and non-religious organization.

  • Exactly today 3rd November its 112 years ago the first international Rotary meeting was held in Winnieg in Canada
  • Co founder of UN where only Red Cross and Rotary has a permanent seat.
  • Rotary is nearly finishing defeating polio after decades of vaccinations by Rotarian volunteers from all the world.
  • Rotary is non profit, no tolerance of discrimination of gender, sex, religion, politics, education, colors , culture etc.
  • 1.4 mill members in 46000 clubs who all serve above them self with good values and princips
  • As a Rotarian you have thrust in 1.4 mil fellows who will treat you as family in all 46000 clubs if you visit !

Why Rotary Club Benahavis International ?

We will be one of the leading clubs in Spain when it comes to number of members and projects serving our local and international community.
We will be a vibrant fun and serious meeting point for likeminded people, whos looking for new friends and personal development.
We are ambitious, creative, dedicated and passionated members.
We will be a rolemodel with no fear and no limits, leading by example
We will do minimum 2 charity Gallas/ party a year.
We will make several clubs, like business club, kids club, art club, speakers club, cooking clubs, padle club etc
We will do a social event minimum every second month.
We have founded the board of 10 board members and are in progress of making our constitution .

how to become a member of RCBI?

As we are a Rotary club under formation, all who is invited to our meetings until we are founded estimated end of January, will be a founding members If they are interested!
When we reach 70 members we will make a waiting list as we want all members to get to know each other and learn about Rotary
We are already 15nov 2022 40 founding members from + 20 nations, from 21-65 years old, 50% is families with kids in school.!
Members fee from January 2023 is 250 euro each quarter / every 4 months.
